Up until last weekend I hadn't eaten here in three or four years. The food was always good but I haven't had the occasion to stop by. I drive for a living and simply hadn't been near. Last week I stopped in for a brisket sandwich and a sausage sandwich to take out. They were as tasty and good as I remembered. I almost finished them before I got home to South Dallas. Today I stopped in and ordered the same as before and ate them in the restaurant. I'm an older guy and tend to vary my diet a bit so I'm not sure when I'll be back but I feel pretty sure when I do it'll still be good.

First negative review I have ever done. Came for lunch and ordered the lunch special (1 meat, 2 sides, bread and a drink for $12.99.) When we ordered the rib lunch special, we were told it does not include ribs. I have attached a photo of the lunch special menu on the door of the restaurant, as well as the one posted on the counter. They both CLEARLY include ribs. We didnt argue and paid full price for the rib plates. The ribs were decent, HOWEVER the fried were absolutely very old and had been fried several times (photo also attached) - so greasy and hard we threw them away. Also, when we asked for lemon for our tea, the young lady went to the back, got a lemon, sliced it in from of us while wearing gloves then placed the slices in my BARE HAND. NO CONTAINER, NO NAPKIN. This location is a poorly run franchise.

I’ve been going to this location for over a year now as it was my first barbecue restaurant since I moved to Texas a few years back, as every time I enter Through the doors always being greeted with a smile and great atmosphere by the owner and staff. It has gone to a point to where you know your regular customers as I do at my job normally The owner knows I always get my wings, but sometimes I like to switch it up and get my two meat platter with everything cook to perfection. I love the way the owner communicate with the customer on wonder how their day has been as they wait for their meal that shows in consideration of wonder how a person feels which for me is great because it’s always good to see another person smile knowing that their day is gonna be great because of you. This restaurant has been more not just a place to go out and eat but more as a place you’re treated as if you was family, Always say thank you before leaving, but I will say thank you for taking your time to take care of customers like me with great food and great service.

It was a great experience! The spicy cheese sausage was the hit! It was so good the brisket was cut good and smoked perfectly. The owner was a delight and plan to come back and try the smoked wings!

OMG, the food here is so delicious. I ordered Wingstop with Uber yesterday. I threw it all in the trash because it was so salty. I was craving wings so I came to Dickey’s And I got some real wings that’s cooked to perfection. Everybody here is so nice. It is like a family oriented restaurant. I love this place.
